Robert first came to us in May 2013 with 10 nails so contaminated and thick with fungus that they caused pain in his shoes. He entered our laser treatment protocol and as of January 2014. He saw us in August and September of 2013 for laser treatments and, by January, his nails nearly free of visible fungus involvement. Robert was delighted with the results and asked me to post them on our web page as a testimonial. At yesterday’s visit I found a quick and rapid (since January!) regrowth of fungus in his left big toe nail. Considering his response to date, I bet this will grow out now that we have killed the fungus with yesterday’s laser treatment. This points out two points of treating nail fungus: first, the laser can help clear the nails with a vigorous protocol and, second, patients with fungus are always prone to a recurrence but jumping on it right away is the only way to keep the nails clear and clean.
